A lawyer from Balti is suspected to have hired a hit man for USD 5,000 to kill her former business partner, a 37 year old woman. According to the Interior Ministry’s Press Unit, the lawyer, a 44 year old woman, had business relations with the victim. Reportedly an argument determined the lawyer to kill her ex-business partner. The killer was supposed to kill the victim no matter what and depending on the only condition that he had to show the picture of the body. The killer received in advance USD 1,000, and the other 4,000 were to be paid after the murder. The lawyer could not imagine that the “killer” was a policeman and the photo was a faked to arrest her at the moment when she was to pay the rest of the money. The lawyer is currently detained and charged with murder attempt and contract killing, risking to serve 25 years in jail.
