Lawn on Dacia Blvd laid for German Chancellor’s visit was stolen
The lawn that has been recently laid on Dacia Blvd, on the segment that links the capital to the airport, has been stolen, reports Info-Prim Neo.
According to “Green Spaces” head Eliferii Haruta, over 20 meters of lawn have been stolen, and the competent bodies are trying to identify the thief.
The lawn strips were laid on the separation band, instead of the concrete blocks that had been extracted along with the removal of billboards. Previously, the Green Spaces head stated that a square meter of lawn costs 40 lei.
The lawn had been laid in light of German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s visit to Moldova. The high-ranking official is awaited in Chisinau on Wednesday, August 22.
