Lawmakers formulate motives for which prosecutors can be dismissed
The prosecutors will be discharged if they do not ensure the operativity and efficiency of the activity to defend the basic rights and fundamental freedoms and the general interests of society, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The group of MPs who proposed the bill with amendments to the Law on the Prosecutor’s Office formulated also other motives based on which the prosecutors can be fired, including the violation of the oath sworn and inappropriate fulfillment of the duties to organize the activity and communication, assume responsibilities and managerial skills.
The legislative initiative was approved by the Cabinet on January 16.
