The indemnity for temporary disability to work, for the people with a work contract with a duration less than one year, will be granted for a period of up to 30 days during a calendar year, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to new legal changes, the indemnity beneficiaries are considered the season workers, too, as well as the unemployed during the period of receiving unemployment assistance. The conditions on granting the indemnities for people with work contracts of over one year remain unchanged. The law on modifying Art. 9 of the Law no. 289-XV of 22 July 2004 on the indemnities for temporary disability to work and other social assistance is published in Monitorul Oficial (Official Gazette) No. 47-48 (3140-3141) of March 7, 2008.
