Parliament adopted in the second and last reading the law on the moratorium on state inspections at business entities. The law provides for the institution of a moratorium on all the state inspections for a period of three months, IPN reports.
Thus, there will be performed no state inspections, including fiscal, financial, mobile customs, of the quality of products/services, public health, technological parameters and/or specific requirements for the kind of activity, and concerning the observance of the labor protection, sanitary and anti-fire norms. The law does not yet refer to the customs checks when entering and leaving the country.
According to the amendments proposed afterward by MPs, when the period of three months expires, the Government will have the right to extend the moratorium for another three months, but only once.
The law on the moratorium on state inspections is designed to create favorable conditions for the development of the business sector and legislative and institutional optimization of inspections at private individuals and legal entities that carry out entrepreneurial activities.
The three-month moratorium on state inspections will be instituted when the law is published in the Official Gazette. However, the law provides that all the inspections will be stopped until this takes effect.
