Laureates of international contest “Lecco Danza” receive training in Chisinau

Fourteen laureates of the international contest “Lecco Danza” held in Italy’s Milan came to Chisinau for two weeks to attend training courses. The courses will be taught by classical ballet masters and professors of the National Choreography College, Info-Prim Neo reports. The classes in Chisinau represent one of the special prizes awarded in the contest. The National Choreography College will be running courses for the laureates of “Lecco Danza” the third year. “The first year, there were five awardees, the second – 11, while this year – 14,” said the College’s head Iurie Gorshkov. The courses will end with a concert by students of the National Choreography College and soloists of the National Opera House of Moldova. The laureates of the international contest “Lecco Danza” receive money awards and special prizes representing training courses in three cities: Chisinau, Moscow and New-York. Moldova has not taken part in the contest. The closing concert by the laureates of “Lecco Danza” in Chisinau will take place at the National Opera House on April 22, starting at 6pm.
