Laura Grecu presented to staff of National House of Social Insurance

The new head of the National House of Social Insurance Laura Grecu was introduced to the House’s staff on May 6. Earlier, Laura Grecu held the post of deputy minister of labor, social protection and family, IPN reports.

According to the institution’s press service, the new manager was presented by the Government’s secretary general Tudor Copaci. He noted the House’s activity strategy, saying a number of reforms were done here during the last few years. He wished Laura Grecu success in her work and promised that the Government will support her.

Laura Grecu expressed her gratitude for the trust put in her and promised to work with devotion. “We are to further improve the public system so as to provide high quality services to the recipients of pensions, benefits and other types of allowances. Only together can we fulfill the tasks entrusted to us,” she stated.

Laura Grecu started work in 1999 as a specialist of the Pensions and Social Insurance Department of the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family. During 16 years, she had held a number of posts at this Ministry.

Currently, the National House of Social Insurance and its 40 local subdivisions employ more than 1,300 persons who serve over 1 million recipients of social welfare.
