Launch of flights to Venice, Rome and Milan postponed

The Romanian airline Carpatair has announced a two-month postponement of the launch of flights from Chisinau to the Italian cities of Venice, Rome and Milan due to the delay in the signing of the Moldova-EU Common Aviation Area Agreement, Info-Prim Neo reports. Recently the European Commission announced certain legal difficulties in the EU member countries granting the mandate to the Commission for the signing of international agreements, the airline explained in a press release. “These difficulties are strictly of technical nature and are expected to be resolved shortly”. The company also said that all the passengers that had booked for the suspended flights would be rerouted to the Chisinau-Timisoara flight and further to all the available destinations. Carpatair operates on 10 Romanian airports and 19 foreign ones. The airline weekly operates over 200 regular flights to 27 destinations in 8 countries.
