The Chisinau Bus Company has received the last six Isuzu Citiport buses of the total of 31 bought by the municipality in February. The vehicles will undergo a standard checkup before being put in operation on the city’s routes.
Earlier it was reported that the buses would be assigned to route no.2 linking Chisinau to the suburban town of Cricova.
The 31 buses have cost the municipal budget 78 million lei. Isuzu Citiport is a Euro 6 diesel, three-door transit bus. The 12 meters long vehicle features low floors, ramps and space to accommodate wheelchairs for greater accessibility to people with disabilities and parents with baby transport. The buses also come with air conditioning, audiovisual announcement equipment and four ventilation windows.
