Last bell ring celebrations held at schools across Moldova

School year end festivities were today staged in educational institutions all over the country. After the festive celebrations, the teachers discussed with the students the activities for the next school year and also the security rules during the holidays. The summer vacation, which is the longest vacation of the year, starts on June 1. The students who are finishing the ninth and twelfth grades are to take exams, IPN reports.

Mayor of Chisinau Ion Ceban addressed a message on the occasion of the last bell ring ceremonies. For students, this is a special day, a day of achievements and joy, but also of a new beginning. “Dear students, whether you are primary, secondary school students or high school graduates, I congratulate you on your effort, perseverance and desire to learn and make progress. You are our future and your daily work gives us hope for a better tomorrow,” he stated.

The mayor also emphasized the role of teachers, saying that this is essential in the growth and development of children, of future generations. “For teachers, this day is a time of pride and satisfaction. Dear teachers, thank you for the dedication and passion with which you guided your students throughout this school year. You dedicated your time, energy and passion to guiding them and providing them with knowledge and tools to face academic and personal challenges... For parents, the last bell ring is an occasion for joy and excitement. Thank you for your unconditional support and for standing by your children at every step of the educational journey,” said Ion Ceban.

Deputy head of the General Division of Education, Youth and Sports Andrei Pavaloi said that the last bell ring this school year marks a moment of celebration and recognition of the remarkable efforts of students, teachers and parents. Through hard work, dedication and perseverance, they demonstrated that education is a road to success. “We are proud of every achievement of our students this school year. Whether you excelled in learning, sports, art or volunteering, each step forward is a precious stone in building a bright future,” stated Andrei Pavaloi.
