Students from the whole country Friday went to the last class this year and then entered a three-month vacation. For the 5,620 students from Chisinau, the last bell ring announced a new start – after the Baccalaureate exams they will have to choose a job and take admission exams to higher education institutions. The about 1,000 students of the theoretical high school “Dante Alighieri” came to the last school day with smiles on their faces despite the cloudy weather, Info-Prim Neo reports. The school’s principal Galina Caraus wished them to have a sunny summer and to collect energy every day so that to be stronger, more courageous and ready to increase their knowledge in autumn, when they will start a new school year. She urged the graduates not to forget their first teacher and the tricks they played during the school years. “Everyone leaves this great family with their won memories. We taught you to love the beautiful things, to be perseverant and to love the book,” the principal said, asking the graduates not to forget about “Dante Alighieri”. She also spoke about the participation of over 400 students of the high school in different out-of-school activities and about the results achieved by the school’s Great Choral Group and the Dance Group “Spicuta”, which won the first place in the municipality of Chisinau. She also said that the newspaper “Dantes”, where many students publish their works, became famous in the school. The event was attended by Victor Puiu, the representative of the Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca. Puiu graduated from “Dante Alighieri”. He transmitted the mayor’s message, saying that “the new generations come to make important changes aimed at democratization and development.” The eleventh graders congratulated the twelfth graders, giving them graduate ribbons. For their part, the graduates said that they want to build their own legends and promised to visit their teachers even if the life offers them new challenges. All the students that achieved goods results at school and at different contests and Olympiads during the year were awarded. The festivity ended with a bell ring and the students went to their classrooms for the last lesson this year.
