The largest tourism exhibition in the Republic of Moldova, Tourism & Travel Expo 2025, will take place during February 14-16 at the Moldexpo International Exhibitions Center in Chisinau. Now at its 28th edition, the event will bring together more than 100 participants from Moldova, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Romania and Ukraine, who will present the most attractive tourist destinations, holiday travel packages and promotional offers, IPN reports.
According to the organizers, the exhibition is designed to satisfy all tastes and preferences, with offers adapted for three categories of tourists.
Young adventurers will be able to discover cognitive tours, mini-trips to European capitals and active tourism experiences with adrenaline elements.
Families with children will have personalized holiday packages at their disposal, which include recreational activities, entertainment for the little ones and cultural programs for parents.
Seniors and mature tourists will be able to explore spa resorts, wine tours, pilgrimages and cultural circuits.
One of the most awaited moments of the exhibition is the drawing of five "city break" tickets, fully covered by travel agencies, Moldexpo representatives announced.
In addition to international destinations, the Republic of Moldova will have a special presence at the exhibition, with the participation of National Tourism Associations, representatives of wineries and guesthouses.
For the first time, the Chisinau City Hall will participate in the exhibition in order to promote the tourist attractions of the capital city, while 15 district councils and ATU Gagauzia will bring to the fore the cultural and traditional heritage of the regions.
The program of the event includes the festival-contest of folk traditions "Hora: united by tradition", organized with the assistance of the Ministry of Culture and the National Tourism Office. "The authentic atmosphere will be rendered through decorations inspired by the evenings spent "at the stove", folklore shows and a large hora to which all visitors are invited to participate", said the organizers.
The international stands will be a focal point for visitors. Bulgaria and Romania will come with special offers for seaside and mountain resorts, and the Czech Republic and Lithuania will participate for the first time with a joint stand, offering attractive packages for Moldovan tourists.
The exhibition program also includes B2B workshops, seminars and presentations, where tourism experts will discuss Moldova’s tourism potential, gastronomic tourism and the latest trends for 2025.
