Officers of the Complex Investigations Division of the National Investigation Inspectorate, together with the Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime and Special Cases, carried out searches at the head offices of four companies that belong to the same owner, which is the largest meat importer in the Republic of Moldova, IPN reports.
According to the General Police Inspectorate, infected meat on sale was identified as a result of control purchases. Details will be provided later.
