Motorists are warned to drive carefully on Mihail Kogalniceanu St in Chisinau, at the intersection with Banulescu Bodoni St, where a hole that is about one square meter in area appeared in the asphalt.

Contacted by IPN, the Chisinau City Hall’s press officer Vadim Brinzaniuc said that the asphalt caved in where there is a sewerage pipe managed by the municipal enterprise “Apa-Canal Chisinau”.

”The company’s specialists are carrying out repair works. The hole formed because the systems are worn-out,” said Vadim Brinzaniuc.

Officials of the Chisinau City Hall assured that the street will be repaired by evening.
