The cleanup company “Autosalubritate” has signed a new contract within the Solid Waste Chisinau Project with the Turkish company LIV MUH MUS INS LTD, which will supervise the recultivation and closure of the temporary landfill in Ciocana district. The construction of a new transfer station with a municipal waste sorting line is also planned, IPN reports.
LIV MUH MUS INS LTD was designated the winner of the tender contest held on the ECEPP portal - the electronic procurement platform of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. “This step represents a significant advance in the modernization of municipal waste management, contributing to improving the quality of life of the inhabitants of the capital city,” said “Autosalubritate”.
In the next period, “Autosalubritate” is to sign the contract with the company that will actually execute the works, which will be another important step towards the implementation of the Chisinau Solid Waste Project for the ecological, sustainable and healthy future of Chisinau municipality.
The project is financed by the Chisinau City Hall, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the European Investment Bank and the Eastern European Energy Efficiency and Environment Partnership (E5P).
