The owners of land during April 11 – July 7 can file applications to get subsidies in advance for projects to prevent and reduce soil erosion, to ensure the chemical amelioration of soil and to conserve and improve soil fertility. A sum of 10 million lei was earmarked this year for providing such subsidies, IPN reports.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, the subsidies are intended for private individuals and legal entities and for cities and towns that own, use or lease out lots of land included in the publicity registers, which are to implement the project in a territorial-administrative unit of the first level.
The file for obtaining the subsidy must include the application, the investment project, the business plan, an own responsibility statement on the accuracy of the presented information and documents, a declaration on the conflict of interest and the contract for the provision of the subsidy in advance.
The file must be submitted by the applicant to the local office of the Agency for Payments and Intervention in Agriculture, in the region where the investment is to be made.
