Labor and social protection services to be provided at one-stop-shop

A number of labor and social protection institutions will work together to pilot the “one-stop-shop” concept. A cooperation agreement to this effect was signed by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection with subordinated institutions and bodies and the National House of Social Insurance (CNAS), IPN reports.

According to CNAS, the one-stop shop represents a mechanism that facilitates the quick and convenient access of citizens to information and public services in the field of labor and social protection in a single access point, adapted to the needs of beneficiaries, by implementing innovative practices and tools.

The pilot project will be kicked off on February 12 at the Botanica Local House of Social Insurance located at 108 Burebista St in Chisinau.

Thus, in addition to the services of the National House of Social Insurance, within the one-stop shop there will be available labor and social protection services offered by institutions managed by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, namely the National Employment Agency, the National Council for Determination of Disability and Work Capacity, the National Experimental Center for Prostheses, Orthopedics and Rehabilitation, the Centru Local Social Assistance Agency and the State Labor Inspectorate.
