Alexandru Gatcan has a new coach at FC Rostov. The team of the Moldovan halfback was taken over by the former Sheriff coach Leonid Kuchuk, IPN reports.
The Belarusian coach will be assisted by two Moldovans. Sergiu Kleshcheko will serve as second coach, while Yevgheny Ivanov will work with goalkeepers. Kleshcheko is the best scorer in the history of the national football team of Moldova and earlier trained also Milsami, Zimbru and Leiria. Ivanov also formed part of the training staff of Kuchuk at Sheriff, Kuban, Lokomotiv and Stal.
At FC Rostov, Kuchuk replaced Kurban Berdyev who signed for Rubin. The Belarusian coach won six titles with Sheriff, being the first coach who took the team from Tiraspol to the UEFA Europa League groups.
