Romania’s President Klaus Iohannis welcomes the signing of the agreement to form the Alliance for European Integration in Moldova. The Romanian official addressed a message of support to the Liberal Democratic Party, the Democratic Party and the Liberal Party, IPN reports.
“I welcome the signing of the agreement to form the Alliance for European Integration 3 in Moldova. I’m confident that the new ruling alliance will continue and deepen the reform processes that would secure Moldova’s European course. I’m hopeful that the new alliance will be a solid and stable one, capable of meeting the expectations of the Moldovan people and European partners, especially as regards the strengthening of the state institutions and materialization of the commitments assumed through the Association Agreement and the Free Trade Agreement with the EU,” reads the message that was published on the website of the Romanian President.
Klaus Iohannis reiterated Romania’s firm support for the efforts made by the official Chisinau to strengthen the road to the European Union and to continue the political dialogue with the pro-European forces.
