Kirill Luchinski will no longer sit in Parliament. In a news conference, Kirill Luchinski and the head of the Liberal-Democratic parliamentary group Tudor Deliu announced that they made changes to the internal composition of the group, IPN reports.
Kirill Luchinski said he decided to vacate the seat of MP and to write an application to withdraw from the Liberal Democratic Party because he remains a minority shareholder of the project to reform TV7 channel and does not want to affect the channels’ image from the position of a politician.
Luchinski explained that the European Endowment for Democracy decided to support TV7, while the Luchinski family will support this project as a minority shareholder as they sold 75% of the shares in this channel. TV7 will be managed by an association of journalists that is to be registered.
