Kiril Moțpan: Current rulers raised lie to level of virtue

MP of the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform” Kiril Moțpan said the current rulers, including President Igor Dodon, raised the lie to the level of virtue and present lies as successes. He referred also to the road reconstruction works announced by President Dodon and Prime Minister Ion Chicu, which cost billions of lei, but for which money will most probably not be found, as he considers, IPN reports.

“Who suffers as a result of such things told with great nonchalance and with lack of responsibility? The people are used to believe the governments, those whom they delegated because they are officials, authorities and these, at a certain moment, try and mostly manage to persuade the people that all the balderdash they say is something real. We already feel the effects as the salaries are not paid,” the MP stated in the program “Shadow Cabinet” on Jurnal TV channel.

Former minister of finance Natalia Gavrilița said that Maia Sandu’s Government considerably improved the situation concerning the currency accounts. The current Government led by Ion Chicu clearly showed that it is not technocratic, but is concerned about the reelection of Igor Dodon as President and now spends money banking on funds that will yet come into the budget. “I think this Government counts on the non-fulfillment of the budget,” stated Natalia Gavrilița.

Ex-minister of health in the Sandu Government Ala Nemerenco said money in the healthcare system exists, but there is also corruption, fraud and inefficient management of funds. The current government cut the budgets intended for the salaries of medical staff.

She also said that the health insurance policy covers a sufficient range of medical services and there is no need to extend this range, in accordance with the plans of President Dodon. “These services should be made available and we started to do this. (...) They cut the budgets for salaries, offered again more to the hospitals. The President said they will bring the closing and merger of hospitals to an end, but I want to note that no hospital was closed in this country starting with the period before the Tarlev Government, while the small mergers were done by the technocrats who are members of the current Government,” said Ala Nemerenco.
