Kinetotherapy hall set up at kindergarten No. 76
A kinetotherapy hall for children with deficiencies was opened at the kindergarten No. 76 “Aurica” based in Chisinau’s Rascani district. The building was also renovated and all the windows were changed, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to a communiqué from the Chisinau City Hall, the project was implemented by East Europe Foundation with financing from the Foreign Ministries of Sweden and Denmark. The budget was about US$125,000.
Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca said that he would like such halls to be opened monthly in Chisinau. “My greatest regret as the mayor of Chisinau is that sick children are still born in the city. But my greatest joy is to offer support to these children,” he stated.
The kindergarten’s head Ludmila Gutu said that the exercises needed by children with disabilities have been performed in group until present. “We will now be able to work with these children individually,” she said.
Currently, there are over 600 children with autism and paralysis in Chisinau municipality.
