The heating season in Chisinau municipality is practically over. SA Termocom stopped supplying heat to kindergartens and children’s hospitals. In the April 17 meeting of City Hall officials, the company’s director Mihail Cernei said that there are a number of consumers that have not been yet disconnected, Info-Prim Neo reports. “The Labor Institutive, which has a hotel and holds seminars, asked not being disconnected from the heat supply during the next two weeks. There are also another four institutions that need heat during 10 to 14 days,” said the director of SA Termocom. The Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca said in this connection that anyone who wants can be connected to the heat supply if they are ready to bear responsibility and cover the costs themselves. He thanked his colleagues for ensuring a reliable heat supply this season. “I thank you for your effort, but we will not stop here. Termocom is a monopolist and we must increase transparency, rationalize the company and reach the European heat supply standards,” he stated. The supply of heat to apartment buildings was stopped on March 19.
