The kindergarten in Parlita village of Ungheni district is being renovated following the June natural disasters. The building’s roof is to be replaced with metallic tiles, IPN reports.
Prime Minister Pavel Filip inquired about the pace of repair works during a visit to Ungheni district on July 19. The old solid fuel burners were replaced with two modern boilers, while the old windows were substituted by thermopane windows. The project is implemented with the support of the Government of Romania and has a budget of 940,000 lei.
“A state can be prosperous if it lays emphasis on three key objectives: infrastructure, the rule of law and, the most important one, education of the young generation. Today, not the land or factories are production factors, but the people’s capacities and their education. The education system is a priority for the current Government and we will make every effort to modernize and improve it,” Pavel Filip stated in a discussion with the institution’s administration.
