The guns found at the place of the incident that occurred in an apartment building in Chisinau in the evening of January 7, which resulted in the death of a young man, are usually used by killers, said ex-deputy minister of the interior Gennady Cosovan, IPN reports.

In the program “Day by Day” on Publika TV channel, Gennady Cosovan said the guns used by the suspects are of Makarov and Scorpion models that are usually used by killers. The former deputy minister said that one of the suspects forms part of an international criminal group that committed at least 18 murders by order in Ukraine and four in Moldova.

The aggressive behavior of the suspects that led to the shooting incident is due to the criminal past of these. Psychologist Angela Nicolau in the same program said there is the notion of professional formation, which means that a person doing a particular job starts to see things through the angle of this occupation. In the given case, the suspects considered things only through the angle of criminal activities.

A 25-year-old man was shot dead, while another one aged 27 was seriously injured following a dispute with apartment building neighbors. The two young men came to a friend of theirs to celebrate Christmas. They went on the balcony to smoke and one of them spat down and the spittle fell onto a neighbor and his son who smoked at a lower balcony. Infuriated, these went up and got into a conflict with the young men, firing their guns. The father and son were arrested. They face 15 to 20 years behind bars or life for murder.
