Two cars used in the past to move around high-ranking officials will be on display on June 1 outside the Parliament building. The limousines GAZ-14 (1987) and ZIL 41047 (1989) were used by Mircea Snegur and Petru Lucinschi, the first and second president of Moldova, respectively.

The event is held to mark the International Children’s Day. The young visitors will be able to get rides in the two luxury vehicles, according to a press release.

Other events dedicated to the children’s holiday will take place during the day, and children from Ukrainian refugee families are invited to attend. The drawing exhibition “Peace and War through the eyes of children”, organized within the National Program “Respect Moldova, United for PEACE” is opened inside the Parliament building.
