A boy aged only one year and a half fell from the eighth floor of an apartment building located on Alecu Russo St yesterday evening. Remaining without supervision for several moments, the child climbed into a chair near the open window. He forced the net for mosquitoes and fell off. He died on the spot. Anatol Proca, coordinating doctor at the Chisinau Ambulance Service, told Info-Prim Neo that six ambulance teams traveled last night to the address where the tragedy happened. The 48-year-old father suffered reactive psychosis and tried to jump through the same window. The mother aged 40 and the grandmother aged 60 needed medical care as they suffered from stress and from heart diseases. The police worked on the scene during the night. The body of the child was taken to the hospital, where medical examiners are to establish the cause of death.
