Kazakhstan will support Moldova in Transnistria issue within OSCE

The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Moldova Amangheldi Jumabaev assured Prime Minister Vlad Filat that his country is ready to devote increased attention to the settlement of the Transnistrian dispute after it takes over the presidency of the OSCE from January 1, 2010. The statements were made at a meeting of the Moldovan Premier and the Kazakh diplomat last weekend, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the Government's press service. The bilateral cooperation between the two countries and the multidimensional cooperation within international organizations will be another subject of conversation. Vlad Filat thanked Kazakhstan for its constructive attitude towards Moldova. Ambassador Amankeldi Jumabaev said that his country is interested in developing the economic relations with Moldova and highlighted Moldova's economic and geographic opportunities offered by its position close to the EU.
