Kazakhstan interested in spurring trade and economic relations with Moldova

Kazakhstan is interested in developing commercial and economic relations with Moldova, a country that has an attractive business climate and an advantageous geographic position, being a bridge between the European Union and the CIS. A statement in this respect was made by Amangheldi Jumabaev, Kazakhstan’s ambassador to Moldova, during a meeting with Prime Minister Vasile Tarlev. Business people are interested in investing in Moldova in all areas of common interest and in opening joint ventures, Amangheldi Jumabaev was reported by the Governmental press service as saying. Vasile Tarlev stressed Moldova’s intention to strengthen the collaboration with Kazakhstan in all fields, voicing confidence that his visit to Astana scheduled for the end of January will become a historic one for both states. According to the Prime Minister, all the barriers hindering the bilateral cooperation must be removed, and the legal environment needed for the free movement of goods, citizens, capital and services must be created. The Vasile Tarlev’s visit will be the first official visit of a Moldovan Prime Minister to Kazakhstan.
