Kazakhstan extradites Moldovan suspected of cruel murder

Kazakhstan's general prosecutor's office has extradited a Moldovan accused of murder with extreme cruelty, Moldova's General Prosecutor's Office (GPO) announces in a release, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. Prosecutors accuse the suspect that he and other four identified men allegedly entered the house of a woman from Cahul town on June 22, 1999. They beat her and the 45-year-old woman died. The suspect is also charged with burglary as he took electrical appliances and golden objects from the victim's house, assessed at 51,000 lei. The suspect is in custody now, as prosecutors prepare to indict him. According to the GPO, the other four accomplices are already serving sentences from 6 to 17 years. If the suspect is found guilty he may be sentenced to 20 years of jail or to life sentence.
