Jurists of Communists Party not allowed to Parliament's sitting

Sergiu Sarbu, the jurist of the Communists Party (PCRM), could not enter today the Palace of the Republic, where the Parliament holds its sittings. The guards said they received orders, but did not specify who gave them, Info-Prim Neo reports. Sergiu Sarbu said the access to the assembly hall was banned by order of Speaker Mihai Ghimpu. “It is an illegal act. The Parliament's sittings are public,” Sarbu said in the hall of the Palace of the Republic. The jurist also said that the leader of the Communist parliamentary group Maria Postoiko filed an application, explaining why Sergiu Sarbu should attend the sittings. “As the Communist group is not present at the sittings, I monitor the anti-constitutional work of the legislative body,” the jurist explained. Sergiu Sarbu said he does not intend to fight with the guards as he understands that they are under instructions, but he will appeal the given orders to court.
