Jurist Radu Bushila sued Acting President Mihai Ghimpu for damaging his image, claiming 1 million lei damages from him. He promised he will give this money to children suffering from cancer, Info-Prim Neo reports. Radu Bushila Tuesday sent a letter to the Acting President, informing him that he sued him. “Mihai Ghimpu distorted my surname, calling me “shutila”, the jurist said. “His behavior is inappropriate for a head of state. These public insults against me damage by honor and professional reputation.” Radu Bushila defends the Acting Presidents' cousin Valeriu Ghimp in a case concerning the right of ownership over a plot of land, which is claimed by Mihai Ghimpu and his nephews Lucian and Dorin Chirtoaca. He also represents the Christian Democratic People's Party at the Central Election Commission.
