The third U-14 Juniors International Chess Festival “Moldova’s Autumn” is taking place in Chisinau on October 25-29. More than 150 competitors from Romania, Ukraine and Moldova are taking part in the tournament, IPN reports, quoting a pres statement of the Moldova Chess Federation.
The competitions in the 8, 10 and 14 age categories are held at 84 Mitropolit Varlaam St. The tournament is staged in compliance with the FIDE Swiss Rules. Each participant plays two games a day, during at most 61 minutes. Those who score the highest number of points become winners.
The winners will be awarded money, cups and diplomas, separately for boys and girls.
