June 1 is nonworking day

June 1, when it is celebrated the International Children’s Day, was declared nonworking day. A decision to this effect was taken in the May 31 meeting of the Cabinet. However, June 25 will be a working day instead of June 1, IPN reports.

“We suggested a solution to the decision passed by Parliament. In this regard, we must have a more complex approach, including as regards the amendments to the Labor Code. Nevertheless, I want to note that the agendas for tomorrow were drafted long before and the Cabinet will work because a series of very important meetings were planned,” stated the Premier.

The given decision was taken in accordance with the Parliament decision to adjust the regulations on commemorative days, holydays and nonworking days in Moldova of May 27.
