The Supreme Court of Justice judges Oleg Sternioală and Ion Druță, with the latter serving also as president of this Court, were discharged based on draft decisions adopted by Parliament on December 19, IPN reports.
Both of the judges were fired based on their applications submitted to the Superior Council of Magistracy.
Ion Druță is investigated for unjust enrichment and is under judicial control. Oleg Sternioală is investigated for money laundering outside remand detention.
