The Supreme Council of Magistrates suspended judge Ion Busuioc, of the Centru District Court. Two years ago, the judge struck mortally a man from Rastus village by his car. The information was made public by the Ministry of Justice, IPN reports.

Then, the judge said that the impact could not be avoided, but he travelled legally. Afterward, he provided financial assistance to the family of the victim.

In the May 27 meeting of the Supreme Council of Magistrates, the judge said the prosecutors are influencing him over another case that he has examined. The Council recommended the Prosecutor General’s Office to investigate these assertions.
