Judge Domnica Manole prosecuted

Domnica Manole, the judge who obliged the Central Election Commission to hold the constitutional referendum initiated by the Platform “Dignity and Truth”, stated that the Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office confiscated the processor of her computer and took legal action against her. In a press statement, Domnica Manole says that she found out about the criminal case started against her on June 8 only now, IPN reports.

“Employees of the Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office today seized the processor of the computer from my office. Besides, they seized the computer of my assistant from the Chisinau Appeals Court and the civil case started at the request of the initiative group for holding the constitutional referendum against the Central Election Commission to obtain the annulment of the Commission’s decision,” said the judge.

She informs the national and international community that she continued to be intimidated, while the procedures in which she is involved are performed with the violation of the rights and guarantees stipulated in the European Convention on Human Rights. She calls on all the embassies and diplomatic institutions to take attitude to this case, given its resonance in society.
