The journalists from the territorial administrative unit “Gagauz-Yeri” will have the possibility to benefit from the services of a press club at a library in Comrat named after Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. According to the director of the library, Vasile Tonasoglo, the Press Club was opened with financial support of the Embassy of Turkey in Moldova, owing to numerous requests of the journalists from the region. The Club has two computer connected to the Internet, a copy machine and Wireless LAN, which makes possible the connection without cable to the Internet. The journalists will be able to use for free the technical equipment of the Press Club. The club will work on a daily basis until December 27, between 9.00 – 12.00 and 16.00 – 21.00. On the eve and on the day of the elections (December 2–3) for the office of region’s bashkan, the Press Club will work until 23.00. Mustafa Kemal Ataturk (1881-1938) is the founder of the Republic of Turkey and its first president.
