A delegation of the Romanian Parliament is paying a visit to Moldova on November 5-6. It will take part in the third meeting of the Joint Commission for European Integration of the Parliaments of Moldova and Romania, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué of the Parliament of Romania, the delegation is headed by the commission’s co-chairman, Senator Florin Constantinescu. It consists of the commission’s deputy chairman, MP Constantin Adascalitei, the commission’s secretary, Senator Ionel Agrigoroaei, Senators Nelu Tataru and Dan Mihai Marian, and MPs Ovidiu Cristian Iane and Mugurel Cozmanciuc.
The program of the delegation’s visit includes a series of meetings with high-ranking officials of Moldovan institutions, including Head of Parliament Igor Corman.
The meeting of the Joint Commission for European Integration of the Parliaments of Moldova and Romania starts at 4pm on November 5. After it, Ana Gutu, chairwoman of the Commission on Foreign Policy and European Integration and co-chairwoman of the Joint Commission, and Florin Constantinescu, deputy head of the Romanian Senate and co-chairman of the commission, will hold a press briefing.
