A joint meeting of Parliament and the Government will take place at the beginning of next week, Speaker Igor Corman announced in a working meeting involving the heads of parliamentary groups and of standing commissions, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué from the legislative body.
The agenda of the joint meeting includes the setting of priorities for the Parliament’s autumn-winter session. It was decided to convene the legislature’s Standing Bureau on September 4. The Bureau will propose when the first sitting of the autumn-winter session of Parliament should be held.
A number of 358 legislative bills are pending in Parliament. Of them, 29 are to be examined as matters of urgency, while 12 are bills of European relevance.
