The Joint enterprise “Tirexpetrol” avoided during 3 days commenting for Info-Prim Neo the accusations of police, according to which it illegally sells fuel. On May 31 the General Police Department made public the results of the control performed at a gas station belonging to “Tirex Petrol”. The police found out important volumes of fuel without origin documents. According to the Press Service of the Department, the control of the gas station, located on Chisinau’s street 52 from Sangera town, made possible for the officers of the Cross-border and Informational Offences Service to identify a quantity of fuel sold illegally, without origin documents. 7871 liters of A-90 fuel and 5775 liters of A-95 fuel amounting to over 155 000 lei, without source documents were found out. An official report was drawn up by the police officers and a 1000 lei fee was applied together with the confiscation of the mentioned-above fuel. The Police officers state that they will continue the raids in order to carry out the decision of the Government on fighting the underground economy in the fuel area.
