Joint Control Commission resumes its ordinary meetings

Joint Control Commission (JCC) will resume on the next week its ordinary meetings. Ion Leahu, member of Chisinau’s delegation to JCC told Info-Prim Neo that the first meeting will take place in Tighina on September 6. The cited source said an agenda was not yet drafted and that the discussed issues will be decided at the meeting. The members of JCC left on vacation at the end of July; afterwards Transnistrian forces illegally took hold of the harbor facility from Varnita. Before this event, the Moldovan delegation did not participate in the meetings of JCC because of the disputes between Tiraspol and Chisinau on the issue of the peasants from Dortcaia. They were not allowed to cultivate their plots located in the zone which is controlled by the separatist regime from the left bank of Nistru River.
