Javier Solana urges Moldova to take part in Eastern Partnership actions
Andrei Stratan, the foreign minister in office met, in Prague, the EU commissioner for foreign policy, Javier Solana, the press service of the Moldovan foreign ministry informs.
The deputy premier informed the commissioner on the political will of the Moldovan authorities to cooperate with the opposition in order to form the structures of the Parliament, and to consider the causes and the consequences of the April 7 events, reads a communique of the ministry, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
The meeting took place in the context of the summit launching the Eastern Partnership in Prague. The EU top official urged Moldova to participate as actively as possible in the actions envisaged by this initiative as the only way to make progress in the relations with the EU.
Javier Solana has insured Moldova it will enjoy the full support on the part of the EU in promoting the political and economic reforms and in solving the problems it copes with.
