A Japanese pianist will hold a charity concert in Chisinau dedicated to Ukrainian refugees and the host families. The concert is given at the Organ Hall on October 26 and is entitled “Solidarity Moldova”. Entrance is free of charge, IPN reports.
According to UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, the concert is staged on the initiative of the Embassy of Japan in the Republic of Moldova and of Japanese pianist Tempei Nakamura.
This is the third concert by the pianist in the Republic of Moldova. Tempei Nakamura also performed in Cahul and Balti. Before reaching Moldova, he visited other countries in the region in the same spirit of solidarity with the Ukrainian refugees and the countries that welcome them, such as Romania, Slovakia, Poland, and Turkey.
