Japanese investors plan to erect a sports and cultural center in Moldova. This will include a judo hall, Japanese language teaches classrooms, a center for familiarizing people with Japanese cuisine and culture, etc.
The initiative was discussed by President Igor Dodon with representatives of the Japanese investment and consultancy company Gotoshoji. Co. Ltd., IPN reports.
“The given initiative perfectly matches the national campaign to build sports complexes in about 300 villages that was launched by the President of the Republic of Moldova,” Igor Dodon said in the meeting.
He noted that Moldova established very good cooperation relations with Japan in a number of areas of mutual interest and a series of common economic projects are now under implementation.
