A grant to the value of US$ 603,000 is provided by Japan to Moldova for implementing seven projects to modernize a number of social facilities, Moldova’s Ambassador to Japan Vasile Bumacov announced on his Facebook page, IPN reports.
“I had a meeting with Hiroaki Ichiba, principal vice director of the Country Assistance Planning Division III of the International Cooperation Bureau of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The provision of non-reimbursable assistance in the form of a grant to the total value of US$603,583, within the Grant Assistance for Grassroots (GGP), was the main subject discussed in the meeting,” wrote Bumacov.
According to the diplomat, the funds will be used to finance seven projects to modernize the hospitals in Hancesti, Ialoveni, Rascani, Sangerei and Leova, School No. 12 of Balti town, and the Academy of Music, Theater and Plastic Arts.
