Parliament today voted to ratify a grant agreement between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Government of Japan on the provision of medical equipment, IPN reports.

The agreement will enable procurement of state-of-the-art medical equipment under the Economic and Social Development Program, worth 100 million Japanese yen, equivalent to about 776,000 euros.

The grant offered by the Japanese Government will help to strengthen capacities of Moldova’s health care system by procuring necessary medical equipment, products or services, based on a pre-established list.
