The visit paid by Foreign Minister Iurie Leanca to China laid the foundation stone for Chinese investments to Moldova, the head of the Ministry’s press office Oxana Iutes stated for Info-Prim Neo. In November, a group of Chinese businessmen will come to Moldova on a fact-finding visit. During the visit to China, a lot was spoken about the Moldovan products. The telecommunications sector is one of the areas in which China could invest, said Oxana Iutes. Iurie Leanca had been in China during October 11-14, at the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Zang Jiechi. The Moldovan minister had meetings with Chinese Deputy Prime Minister Li Keqiand and other officials as well as Chinese businessmen. They discussed aspects of the economic and commercial relations, including the extension of the market for Moldovan products in China and the attraction of Chinese investments to Moldova.
