Iurie Leanca’s PPEM reasserts readiness to form pro-European coalition in CMC

The faction of the Electoral Bloc “European People’s Platform of Moldova – Iurie Leanca” (PPEM) in the Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) reasserted publicly its readiness to form a pro-European coalition in the Council. In a press statement, representatives of the faction say they want an agreement based on a concrete plan of action, limited in time and with anticipated results, IPN reports.

“This accord must contain an effective distribution of the portfolios in the administration of Chisinau, with efficient leverage for changing things, while corruption fighting should be our top priority,” reads the statement.

The members of the faction of “PPEM-Iurie Leanca” call on their colleagues from the CMC, especially those from the Liberal Party, to have a responsible and honest behavior in relation to the residents of Chisinau municipality.
