Acting Prime Minister Iurie Leanca, who is the official candidate for premiership, started consultations within the process of formulating the work program of the future Government. He had discussions with the main associations of investors of Moldova, which are active members of the Economic Council. In the consultations, associations’ representatives spoke about the problems faced by the large investors in Moldova, IPN reports.
According to the Government’s press service, Iurie Leanca will yet have consultations with representatives of trade unions, employers, the National Participation Council, the National NGO Council and other civil society organizations as well as with political analysts.
On January 28, President Nicolae Timofti nominated Iurie Leanca for the post of Prime Minister of Moldova. Within 15 days of the nomination, the candidate is to present the work program of the future Government and the members of the Cabinet and to ask for Parliament’s vote of confidence for being invested as Premier.
